My name is Jake Lauer and I am excited to be teaching a science fiction storytelling class for STEM-X this year! An avid reader myself, I know the joy of getting lost in a world different than my own, especially when that world has some strange twists and turns. My favorite science fiction story is The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, but Ender’s Game is a close second. As an English teacher at Webber Middle School for the last five years, I have loved helping students tell their stories through writing and film. I look forward to doing just that this summer with your students!

Greetings! I am Sue Davidson. During the school year, I am a math teacher at Preston Middle School. During the summer months, I enjoy teaching “This IS Rocket Science”, a beginning model rocketry class at STEM-X. When I’m not working with middle school students, I love to camp, ski, play board/card games, and spend time with family and friends!
